Mediaware grew from an ongoing project-based development contract with Nitric Industries, a predominantly open-sourced development house situated in the UUNET Bandwidth Barn, most probably Cape Town's most successful business incubator.

SecureBooking and CyberCapeTown are the largest online reservations system in Southern Africa. Mediaware designed the affiliates site at

Nitric Industries, Mediaware provides ongoing development support of the main booking system and platform which is used by CyberCapeTown and Securebooking.

Tourism Business Development Programme
Mediaware developed a MS Access database project for the government tourism consortium aimed at managing various business and private contacts and progress through various tourism promotion and educational programmes. The system was designed to work in self-sufficient geographic offices and to be syncronised into a master 'head-office' database.
Sharenet
Sharenet is South Africa's frontrunner in the stock market software and stock data delivery market. Probably best known for providing the first REALTIME web-based trading system, Sharenet owns a variety of effective analysis tools. Mediaware is often involved in project-based developments for the company, the latest of which is a java-based "market heat chart".

Anglorand Securities
A corporate member of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Anglorand Securities Ltd is a consolidation of financial services companies dating back to 1968. The company not only offers stock-brokering and asset management services, but also realtime online trading systems allowing clients to trade the market themselves. Mediaware developed and maintains the Online Chart system, South Africa's first realtime technical analysis charting system.
